• Sometimes I wake up feeling happy for no reason, then I remember a few.

• Find your inner self first, then you can find a soul mate to share it with. Other than that, you may be wasting time — yours and theirs. 

• Some people get bored; others get creative.

• Make it a habit to break a habit every once in a while. You’ll feel rejuvenated.

• The more you know yourself, the more you’ll love your own company.

• People who like to get totally hammered every weekend usually do so because they don’t like what they do during the week — be it working, studying, or getting bored.

• The fear of remaining single all their lives makes many people “settle for less”.

• I wonder what makes us uncomfortable to walk, jog, or drive next to strangers who are going at the same pace that we either have to slow down or speed up.

• Happy people seem to always have good energy and tend to have more influence.

• Talk to your animals, they listen. And if you’re attentive and listen closely, they’ll talk right back.

• Smile often. It will either confuse people or make them think you’re up to something.

• I salute single mothers as much as I salute boys who grew up without fathers and girls who grew up without mothers.

• In this past decade, things switched from “Most of my friends are parents” to “Some of my friends are grandparents”.

• You can tell that a couple is in sync while their energies match when you spot them separately smiling at the same thing without looking at each other. It often happens whenever they are both facing me and look at my dog or lens before smiling in a similar way.

• The more we travel and meet “different” people the more we realise that we’re not so different after all. One we all are.

• I stopped fighting my inner daemon; I’ve unleashed it.

• Nature may keep your heart beating. But the arts… are why you want it to keep beating. 

• Give yourself permission to walk away from those who belittle your ambitions and dreams, predict your doom and criticise you. Their projective reaction is nothing but a mere reflection of their own emotions, perceptions, and experiences. It’s their story they are mirroring, not yours.

• I have come to realise that nothing is more liberating than packing what you really need and moving to a new place every once in a while. Leaving your comfort zone of familiarity may appear scary at start. But then when you do it a few times, this daring adventure becomes a truly rejuvenating, well-worthy experience.

• Sometimes the greatest gift we could get is an unanswered prayer.


• There are many ways in which you can comfort someone’s insecurity or ignorance; censoring yourself is not one of them.

• Being poor is not about having little; it’s about needing much.


• A fly stuck in a room will always cooperate with you if you want to kick it out than if you want to kill it.


• Something about being too comfortable makes me uncomfortable.


• A distorted truth or half-truth is much worse than no truth.


• Don't be afraid of furthering the evolution of your consciousness. For the true purpose of our existence is to explore, learn, create, and evolve.


• Master your mind or someone else will do it for you.

"The Biking Ra"

• The day we stop learning is the day we start ageing. 


• Having good friends is healthier than therapy and medication.

• Intelligence and the need to follow are inversely proportional; the more intelligence the less is the need.

• Don’t be half of anything.

• There are 7,268,649,450 people in the world who are “different” than you. I think it's only wise to learn how to tolerate all those “different” people.

• You know what I find bedazzling? That we send space shuttles to Mars looking for life yet we can't find a plane with 227 people that is supposed to have vanished on Earth. Just exchange what's on the tel-lie-vision with a new distraction and people will simply forget...just like magic for children.


• If you don’t define yourself, you’ll be defined according to others. 



• One of the grave problems of controlling parents is that the children grow up believing they are dependent on that control.


• Most issues and complexes adults suffer from stem from things which had happened to them in their past as children or teenagers. Whatever it was, there is no healing without letting go.

• We do not fight the darkness, we light a candle.
