OLS Reflections 71 — The Frightfully Unfun Ones

• I knew of a girl whose brother worked for the second cousin of the neighbour of the latter’s redheaded buddy who went visiting a forest one afternoon in 1992 where he spotted a large number of trees. How uniquely spectacular that was that.

• Every time someone tells me you’re overthinking it I overthink it.

• Sometimes you need to get off your high horse and hop on your drunk unicorn.

• If during the decade working for corporate you didn’t impress me enough when we first met, I’ve most likely made filter tips out of your business card. So Thank You, I guess.

• The sex was so phenomenally wild last night, even the neighbours woke up smiling yet still shy to look into each other’s eyes.

• Every time a clothes hanger with a non-rotating hook breaks in my hands I rejoice in pure ecstasy.

• Did you know October is National Sarcastic Awareness Month? Now isn’t that a phenomenally useful bit of info!

• I once sank into madness. Thankfully I remained alive when a purple tie-dye inflatable unicorn gave me a horn. Then my hand slipped when once again I lost my grip on reality. What not to say: I had let my mind wander and it never came back. 

• What if Trump was, unbeknownst to him, channeling an apocalyptic event from the near future that is Covid-19 when he famously shared “Covfefe” with the entire world? 

• I wonder if rats who feel stuck in a routine self-defeating life blame it on the “Human Race”.
