Beth’s Death — Written at 21

Why are you waiting for Death?

It will come one day, Beth

Do you remember when you used to play?

Long ago before today

Now youre old, your hair is grey

Live in your memories, you should have learned its the best way

Drink your tea while closing your eyes

They die, we die, he dies

Grandchildren on holidays, hello and goodbye

Your breath will be taken & your Soul shall fly

No need to hide, no need to disguise

Just close your eyes Beth, just close your eyes.
