Only that they were sung in my head in the style of a 1980s Run DMC rap tune — in terms of rhythm, lyricism, speed of utterance. The random inspiration naturally influenced the rhyme and metre of the poem. So now that you know, I suggest you sing along while reading.

From the get-go
Should have known better
Than Edgar Allan Poe

What a mofo
Unchained his fetters
Now he can flow
Unwrite these letters
Stack ’em in a row
