Following Words I Made Up — The Eightquel, here is Mambo Number 9. The babies are approaching a hundred words and sooner or later I will gather them in a book. Next endeavour is invading the English language dictionaries, one by one, slowly but surely. Mark my words, literally.


  • Newsing (n): A period of reflection or thought about newly received or noteworthy information, especially about recent events.

  • Cuntcentrate (v): Focus one’s attention on jerkish matters.

  • Tristess (n): A Priestess who’s always sad.

  • Haribak (n and v) [ هاريبك ] : Arabic gummy candy which freaks whoever eats it.

  • Styromania (n): An obsessive desire to set fire to food containers made of expanded polystyrene.

  • Asstrologist (n): A person who tells others about their character and predict their future using the positions of the Moon, the Sun, the planets, and their asses.

  • Idiotsyncrasy (n): A mode of behaviour or way of thought particular to a stupid person.

  • Califlower (n): An annual vegetable endemic to California.

  • Kashcavalry (n): Soldiers who fight on horseback while eating a semi-hard yellow cheese made of cow milk, sheep milk, or both.

  • Déjà Rue (n): The feeling that you’ve been in this street before.
