HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography is a way of processing photos which allows for a wider and deeper range of colours. By adding contrast and colour, a new type of unfamiliar beauty is created. This technique results in surreal high dynamic range photos, leaving us with a distinctive art form. Interestingly, this type of
photography originates from the very beginnings of the art form. In fact, it is as old as photography itself. Some of the first examples came from Gustave Le Gray who was creating HDR images as early as the 1850s.
